Homework: Five minute free-write

Just a quick free-write. Yes, I know I should be doing my homework. Actually, this is my prompt…..HOMEWRORK.

Okay….five minutes….GO!

I honestly do not know how I do it. I am taking four classes and raising a teenager. I know this may sound weird…but I sometimes just marvel at myself for not only getting my homework done and turning it in, yet somehow manage to get almost all A’s. I do not know if it is dumb luck or the instructor does not really read my stuff? I imagine it goes like this,

My first assignment I always want to impress so I go the extra mile. If they ask for 300 words, I give them Four-hundred and fifty. The teacher probably reads two maybe three of my assignments and just knows. “Oh, this one. Man is she windy. I do not have time to read all her nonsense.” After all, they has how many other papers to read? And bam they give me full points or almost full points. I know I’m just not that smart. No matter what, I keep plugging away at it little by little and do what I can, and when I can. Somehow it always works out.
